Bennet Wiegert faces a tricky task with SC Magdeburg in the Champions League. After the disappointment in the Cup Final Four, he had to rebuild his team for the task in the premier class. With the 30:26 victory in the Bundesliga at TVB Stuttgart, the team managed to get back on the road to success. "Stuttgart was a demanding task, which we completed in a serious manner in order to put the Cup Final Four more and more to one side. But I also believe that it's perhaps easier for the players than for us on the staff," said Wiegert ahead of the departure to Hungary for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final at Pick Szeged on Wednesday (18:45/Dyn).

The defending champions have the chance to reach the final tournament of the premier class for the fourth time in a row, which will be held in Cologne on June 13 and 14.
