The Finals 2025 will be held in Dresden for the first time from July 31 to August 3, bringing German championships in 19 sports to the Saxon state capital. Also taking part: the new Olympic trend Breaking, which will select the best B-girls and B-boys in the country in front of the Frauenkirche. The unique backdrop, right in the heart of Dresden, will also host the speed climbing and 3x3 basketball competitions.
Breaking in front of the Frauenkirche - a highlight of the finals
After its 2024 Olympic premiere in Paris, Breaking will now experience another highlight at the finals. Dr. Tim Rausche, President of the German Dancesport Association, is delighted: "The outstanding location in front of the Frauenkirche will spur the best breakers on to top performances." Hagen Boßdorf, Managing Director of Finals GmbH, adds: "The energy and enthusiasm that Breaking 2023 generated in Duisburg will also be palpable in Dresden." Like all Finals competitions that take place in the open air, Breaking is also open to visitors free of charge.
