RB Leipzig can reach the last 16 of the Champions League on the fourth matchday of the group stage. To do so, coach Marco Rose's team must win at Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday (21:00/DAZN). At the same time, defending champions Manchester City must not lose to Young Boys Bern. That would put the English champions and Leipzig through to the knockout round. RB won the first leg against the Serbian champions 3:1 two weeks ago. In its previous successful group stages, Leipzig had only ever reached the round of 16 on the sixth and final matchday.
