Promoted Dynamo Dresden are still waiting for their first home win of the season. Coach Miroslav Klose's team, on the other hand, continues to improve after a weak start.

Dynamo Dresden were also unable to halt the winning run of 1. FC Nürnberg in the 2nd Bundesliga. The Franconians won 2:1 (1:1) at the promoted team from Saxony and moved up to ninth place in the standings for the time being.
