Sascha Risch and Dynamo Dresden will go their separate ways in future. The left-back's expiring contract will not be extended, the second division club announced.
"We made a conscious decision not to say goodbye to Sascha after the last game of the season, as we were still in talks with him and his advisors at the time to discuss a possible future together. In the end, we decided not to extend the expiring contract in order to position ourselves elsewhere in this position," said Sören Gonther, Managing Director Sport, on the 26-year-old's future.
Risch joined the club from SSV Ulm in the summer of 2024. The left-back played a total of 37 competitive matches for Schwarz-Gelb in the Bundesliga 2, the DFB Cup and the 3rd division.
