A 50-year-old pilot was seriously injured during the emergency landing of an ultralight aircraft in Hohenstein (Waitzdorf district). According to the Dresden police, the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing in a field on Thursday evening due to an engine failure. He sustained serious injuries, including several broken bones. He was transported to a hospital by rescue helicopter. According to initial police findings, property damage amounted to approximately 50,000 euros.
