It has not yet been decided which league Dynamo Dresden will play in next season. Nevertheless, the first new signing has already been announced.

Third division soccer club Dynamo Dresden have announced their first new signing for the coming season. Aljaz Casar signed a contract with the Saxons on Wednesday. Dynamo did not disclose the duration of the contract. The 23-year-old midfielder comes to the Elbe on a free transfer from third division rivals Hallescher FC.

"We are happy that we were able to sign Aljaz, a robust, athletic and technically well-trained player who was sought after by many clubs. He impresses with his overview and great understanding of the game when playing with the ball. Thanks to his variability, he can further strengthen our team both in midfield and in defense and thus bring his skills into play," said David Fischer, Managing Director of Communications at SGD.

Casar comes from Murska Sobota in Slovenia. He joined Austrian club SRC Altach in 2019 before moving to HFC via the second team of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. He made 58 appearances for the Halle side in League Three and scored three goals.
