Dynamo Dresden first part with a defender, now with an attacking player. Dominik Kother joins a third division club on a permanent basis.

Dynamo Dresden are letting Dominik Kother go. The 26-year-old attacking player will move permanently to MSV Duisburg, the second division club announced. Kother was already on loan to the third-division club last term.

"Dominik has received the playing time he hoped for from his loan in Duisburg in recent months and has repaid this with good performances. That's why the request to sign him came as no surprise to us," said sporting director Sören Gonther. The club did not disclose the amount of the transfer fee.

The Saxon second-division soccer club had already parted company with Sascha Risch. The expiring contract of the left-back, who is also 26 years old, was not extended.
