The Saxon Ministry of Education wants to second even more teachers to other schools in the coming school year so that fewer lessons are missed there. "There will be more secondments next school year to further stop the loss of lessons. However, we will communicate them earlier," said Conrad Clemens (CDU), Minister of State for Culture, to the German Press Agency in Dresden. According to the ministry, the exact number has not yet been determined.
The procedure has been tried and tested for years. The top priority is "that all Saxon pupils receive the best possible teaching provision", said a spokesperson.
