Saxon Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (CDU) will make a government statement on state modernization in the state parliament on Tuesday (from 10.00 a.m.). At its core, the government is concerned with increasing the efficiency of the authorities and noticeably reducing the burden on the economy, local authorities and citizens. At least that is what the title of the declaration suggests.
Three topics are on the agenda for the parliamentary topical hour. At the request of the Greens, a debate is to be held on strengthening independent schools in Bavaria. The Left Party has put care on the agenda. The CDU is concerned with the mathematical and scientific skills of pupils, also with a view to their future careers.
In the afternoon, the debate will focus on the Saxony Fund for Future Investments. The AfD is campaigning for the abolition of superfluous authority structures. The minority coalition of the CDU and SPD has joined forces with the Sahra Wagenknecht alliance to enable safe firefighting in forests contaminated with ammunition.
