The Saxon Office for the Protection of the Constitution has classified the group “Hochland Jugend” as a proven far-right extremist organization. Accordingly, the Saxon State Office for the Protection of the Constitution classified the organization this July as part of the subcultural far-right scene, as the agency stated in response to an inquiry. It thereby confirmed corresponding media reports.
The group reportedly consists of teenagers and young adults “in the low double digits.” According to the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, its primary goal is to connect right-wing extremist youths in the Schönfelder Hochland region of Dresden.
