The listed vaulted bridge in the Halsbrück district of Falkenberg will be completely closed to traffic from today. The parapet was severely damaged in an accident four weeks ago and partially collapsed, according to the Central Saxony District Office. Vehicles will be rerouted. Repairs to the 16th century bridge were already planned from the summer until the end of the year. The work may now be brought forward.
