The point is not to talk about which people turn to crime, but to talk about how valuable people with a migrant background are to the state, she said in an interview with MDR. Daycare centers do not have to be closed because of them, and the healthcare system is not on the verge of collapse.
Von Angern also spoke out against more deportations. That would not improve the situation in any way. “I want to make this very clear: it is a debate that has unfortunately been steered in the wrong direction,” said the Left Party politician.
