Given the war in Ukraine and the tense international situation, a possible state-sponsored motive is evident. “But speculation is not the same as investigative findings.”
Russia should not be declared the culprit without evidence. It must also be examined whether this was a deliberate provocation aimed at discrediting someone—a so-called false-flag operation.
