The Greens in the Saxon State Parliament have expressed their confidence in their parliamentary group executive committee. Parliamentary group leader Franziska Schubert was confirmed in her position “100 percent” in Wednesday’s election. She received all seven votes, the parliamentary group announced. Valentin Lippmann, who focuses on domestic policy, also received 100 percent of the vote as parliamentary secretary and deputy caucus leader. Christin Melcher also remains deputy chairwoman. She received six votes with one abstention.
