Unique finds from 300 years: The Monument Archive opens its doors and allows visitors to immerse themselves in the secret world of Saxon cultural monuments.

The treasure trove of Saxony's heritage conservation will soon be open to visitors. From Thursday (November 6), the annual exhibition "Built Legacy - Preserved Memory. The Saxon Monument Archive" at the Ständehaus Dresden will showcase previously unknown treasures, according to the organizers.

It will provide insights into a storehouse of knowledge that forms the basis for the work on cultural monuments. This includes unique, previously unseen image and text sources and objects from the 18th to 21st centuries relating to cultural monuments in Saxony. The exhibition is open until February 27, 2027.
