With its pyramids and pharaohs, ancient Egypt continues to fascinate us to this day. Scharfenstein Castle now invites you to discover the former advanced civilization on the Nile with all your senses.

At Scharfenstein Castle in the Ore Mountains, visitors can now embark on a journey to ancient Egypt. The new hands-on exhibition includes a walk-through pyramid with burial chamber and sarcophagus, the castle management announced. In various rooms, visitors can also learn more about life on the Nile, the pharaohs and the Egyptian world of gods. And with all the senses. In one station, for example, visitors can get to know and decipher ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. There are also smelling and touch stations.

The "In the Land of the Egyptians" exhibition can be seen from June 6 to October 31 at Scharfenstein Castle in Drebach.
