The Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden is making its musical mark at several European festivals. A concert in Germany is also on the schedule.

Shortly after the start of the season, the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden is embarking on a European tour. Under the baton of its Italian principal conductor, Daniele Gatti, the orchestra will perform at festivals in Ljubljana, Verona, Künzelsau, and Wrocław, among other venues, the orchestra announced. The tour kicks off this Saturday with a concert at the Redefin State Stud as part of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. Italian pianist Beatrice Rana will perform as soloist.
