Travelers in Saxony must be prepared for restrictions on several regional train lines in the coming days due to construction work. From March 30 to April 2, some passengers on the RB110 line will have to switch to buses and expect changed timetables, according to Mitteldeutsche Regionalbahn. Lines RE3 and RB30 will also be affected during this period.
Lines RB110, RB30 and RE3 affected
Rail replacement services will be set up on line RB110, which runs between Leipzig and Döbeln via Grimma, in some cases between Borsdorf (Sachs) and Naunhof. Intermediate stops will be served by buses. The operating company points out that bicycles and e-scooters can only be taken on the buses to a limited extent.
There will also be partial restrictions on the RE3 and RB30 lines between Dresden and Hof via Chemnitz and Zwickau from March 31 to April 2. Departure and arrival times have also been changed on these lines. In addition, a rail replacement service with buses will also run here, in which space for bicycles and e-scooters is limited.
