Half-year reports can cause stress - the Saxony Child Protection Association offers children, young people and parents support with worries about grades and reactions.

This Friday, pupils in Saxony will receive their half-year reports. Anyone who is worried about this can talk to the counseling services of "Nummer gegen Kummer", as announced by the Saxony Child Protection Association. The child and youth helplines, online counseling and parent helplines offer support with questions, concerns or conflicts.

"Many pupils are unsure how their parents will react to the report card - especially if the first half of the school year did not go as hoped," said Anne Marung, coordinator of the Saxon child and youth helplines and the parent helplines in Saxony. Concerned parents can also get support from the helplines.
