Applications Now Open for the Saxony Startup Award

For the Saxony Start-up Award, innovative business ideas and successful start-up concepts are once again being sought. Applications can be submitted immediately, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The deadline is February 17, 2027. The award is open not only to newcomers but also to successful companies founded since 2017 and startups experiencing particularly strong growth. In addition to prize money, the award offers public recognition and a network of contacts with other companies, academia, investors, and policymakers, according to the announcement.

The goal is to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit in Saxony, explained Minister of Economic Affairs Dirk Panter (SPD). “After all, those who start a business today are laying the foundation for tomorrow’s value creation and jobs.”
