Daniel Mesenhöler and second-division soccer club Dynamo Dresden are continuing their partnership. The 30-year-old goalkeeper, who joined Dynamo in January 2024, has extended his expiring contract, Dynamo announced, without specifying the duration of the new deal.
“Mese has always conducted himself with the utmost professionalism over the past few years and, even with limited playing time, has consistently maintained a very high level of competition within our goalkeeping squad,” said sporting director Sören Gonther, explaining the contract extension.
The backup goalkeeper played one competitive match each in the second and third divisions, keeping a clean sheet in both. “The respectful teamwork and mutual appreciation have always made me feel very good,” said Mesenhöler, “and I want to continue giving my best every day so that we can be successful together.”
