The number of female students in STEM subjects is stagnating in Saxony.

The number of female students in the so-called MINT subjects is stagnating in Saxony. In the winter semester 2022/23, 12,569 women were enrolled in the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology, according to the State Statistical Office in Kamenz on Friday. In the previous year, there were 12,666. Women make up 29 percent of students in these subjects.
