"Imagine you are part of the play": this is the guiding principle behind the Semperoper's new season. The renowned opera house aims to offer a panorama of musical storytelling.

The Semperoper Dresden wants to take audiences on a journey of discovery into the world of music and dance in the new season. Artistic Director Nora Schmid announced ten premieres. "Our opera house is a place of intellectual possibilities and sensual perceptions," she said. Under the guiding principle of "Imagine you are part of the play", the company invites audiences to question positions and expectations and to experience the power of great music and moving stories together.
