In 2027, “Saxony Day” will coincide with the Plauen Lace Festival—and will take place outside its usual September date. What else do participants need to know?

The registration deadline for participating in “Saxony Day” next June in Plauen has been extended until December 31. According to the State Chancellery, clubs, merchants, restaurateurs, fairground operators, and businesses can still apply to participate in the festival until the end of the year. The registration deadline was originally October 30, a spokesperson said.

“Saxony Day” is the Free State’s largest festival for clubs and associations. Next year, the festival will not take place on the first weekend of September as usual, but will be held in conjunction with the Plauen Lace Festival from June 18 to 20, 2027.
