SV Elversberg will continue to loan central defender Frederik Jäkel from RB Leipzig for the coming season. This was announced by the second division club on Friday. The 23-year-old joined the then promoted club in the summer of 2023 shortly before the transfer deadline. Jäkel had previously spent two years on loan at KV Oostende in Belgium and one year at Arminia Bielefeld. He is currently undergoing rehab training following a cruciate ligament rupture in February.
