After two and a half years at Dynamo Dresden, full-back Park is returning to his home country. He simply has too much competition in his position.

Kyu-hyun Park will leave third-division soccer club Dynamo Dresden in the winter and return to his native South Korea. This was announced by SGD. The full-back, who has already been released from training until the end of the year, will join South Korean first division club Daejeon Hana Citizen FC from January 1. "In joint discussions, we have openly analyzed the situation for both sides and have come to the conclusion that a new assignment may be the most sensible step for him due to the great competition in his position," said Dynamo's sporting director Thomas Brendel.

The 23-year-old Park had played for the Elbe club for two and a half years. He initially moved to the Elbe on loan from Werder Bremen. A year later, the sports club signed the South Korean permanently. He played a total of 38 competitive matches for the Black & Yellows.
