Second division soccer club 1. FC Magdeburg will have to do without co-coach André Kilian in the upcoming championship match. The Sports Court of the German Football Association (DFB) has imposed an indoor ban on the 36-year-old in single-judge proceedings after charges were brought by the DFB Control Committee for unsportsmanlike conduct, the DFB announced on Wednesday. Magdeburg receives on Friday the SC Paderborn (18.30 clock/Sky).
Kilian had behaved unsportsmanlike with the referee team in the 3:4 defeat at Bundesliga relegated FC Schalke 04 last Saturday. He had then been shown the red card by referee Michael Bacher.
