Laura Nolte has won the overall monobob World Cup for the first time in her career. At the World Cup final in Altenberg, the 27-year-old pilot from BSC Winterberg only finished third. But in the overall standings, she came out on top with a 17-point lead over Australian Bree Walker, who finished second behind the victorious US pilot Kaillie Humphries-Armbruster. Lisa Buckwitz finished fourth to secure third place in the overall World Cup ahead of Humphries-Armbruster.
