Prominent departure from second-division soccer club Dynamo Dresden: Ulf Kirsten is ending his commitment as brand ambassador. The 60-year-old informed those responsible at the club that he did not wish to extend his contract, which was due to expire, at his own request. He had held this position since March 2025. Prior to that, he was the club's sporting advisor for two years.
"We regret Ulf's decision, but at the same time we can understand his reasons. Despite the distance from his home to Dresden, he has regularly made his way to support and positively represent our club over the past few years," said Dynamo CFO Stephan Zimmermann in a club statement.
