Dynamo Dresden have announced their sixth new signing of the winter transfer window. As the second division club announced, Ben Bobzien is joining on loan. The 22-year-old attacking player moves to Dresden from Bundesliga club 1. FSV Mainz 05. He is the fifth player to be loaned out this winter.
In recent years, Bobzien has played on loan for SV Elversberg and Austrian Bundesliga clubs SC Austria Lustenau and SK Austria Klagenfurt. He brings with him the experience of 58 games and ten goals in the Austrian Bundesliga as well as three appearances in the Conference League with Mainz.
"He can be deployed variably in the front attacking line, can play both on the flanks and up front and makes our game even more unpredictable. With his pace and tricky play, he has developed steadily over the past few years and has grown into a top performer in the Bundesliga in Austria," said Dynamo's sporting director Sören Gonther.
