Third division soccer club Dynamo Dresden have signed midfielder Vinko Sapina from league rivals Rot-Weiss Essen. The Saxons made the announcement on Thursday. The 28-year-old was most recently captain at RWE and was one of the top performers last season with 29 games and three goals.
"As a young player, you dream of being able to play for traditional clubs and in front of many spectators. I'm all the more excited about the games and hope I can play my part in achieving the club's ambitious goals," said Ulm-born Sapina, who is Dynamo's sixth new signing for the coming season.
