Dynamo Dresden bowed out of the 3rd soccer league with a home win. In the last game of the season, the already promoted team beat SpVgg Unterhaching 3:0 (0:0). In an eventful second half, Mika Baur (61), Jakob Lemmer (65) and Claudio Kammerknecht (68) scored. The Black & Yellows' last third division match for the time being was watched by 30,646 spectators at the Rudolf Harbig Stadium.
The promoted team were celebrated frenetically long before kick-off. Thousands of fans lined the stands and accompanied their team on the way to the stadium. Once there, the club announced the Dynamo news of the day: Christoph Daferner is staying! The 18-goal man, who was on loan from Nuremberg this season, has now been signed permanently.
However, the visitors had the first chance of the game. Johannes Geis' long-range shot (8') was deflected for a corner by Dresden goalkeeper Tim Schreiber. The home side then dominated the game, but without really becoming dangerous. Shortly before the break, SGD even had two lucky breaks. First, Lenn Jastremski (45') hit the crossbar from a scramble, and a little later Markus Schwabl (45.+1) failed to score against another strong Schreiber.
