Third-division soccer club Dynamo Dresden has condemned a racist attack on one of its youth players. According to a statement issued by the club on Wednesday, the U16 player was "racially abused and insulted several times on a train on his way home on 6 November. In addition, the boy was violently assaulted. After further threats, the player was finally forced off the train."
Dynamo emphasized that they are taking care of the player "in the aftermath of this shocking incident". The incident has been reported to the police and the authorities are investigating.
