Dynamo couldn't get off to a better start in the top match under floodlights. But the lead is immediately gone again. KSC turned the game around before the break. Dynamo fight and are rewarded late on with a 3:3.

Dynamo Dresden once again missed out on a lead and are still waiting for their first home win since being promoted back to League Two. Against Karlsruher SC, who scored their first away goal in Dresden of all places, the Elbe club still managed to draw 3:3 (1:2) in stoppage time.

Nils Fröling put Dynamo ahead after just eight minutes. Marcel Beifus (11th minute) immediately equalized with his first away goal of the season, before Lilian Egloff (37th minute) turned the game around for KSC. Although Christoph Daferner (52) was able to equalize, Fabian Schleusener (61) put KSC back in front before Dynamo celebrated a late equalizer through Jakob Lemmer (90+2).

"Today we have to be happy that we managed to equalize. Otherwise we'll be left empty-handed again," said Daferner and emphasized: "We were better in the second half. We can keep up in every game, it's just the little things."

Dresden coach Thomas Stamm made no changes to his starting XI, but will once again be without the suspended Vinko Sapina. The top match got off to a furious start. Fröling was left unchallenged near the penalty area on the half-left and simply took a shot, the ball bounced in front of goal and it was 1-0 to Dresden.

First away goal for KSC

But KSC also made the most of their first chance: defender Beifus (11), who made his second start of the season following the absence of defensive boss Marcel Franke, headed straight into the corner from a good eleven meters after a corner. But that was not enough. After a defensive error, Egloff (37) gave KSC the lead with a deflected shot and turned the game around in front of 3,000 visiting fans.

KSC were also wide awake after the break. Christoph Daferner (47) had to scramble a ball from Christop Kobald off the line after a set-piece. At the other end, Daferner (50) missed the equalizer for Dynamo. He did better two minutes later after a counter-attack from close range following a pass from Jonas Oehmichen.

He then missed even taking the lead. KSC then took the lead through Schleusener (61'), who technically adeptly extended the ball into the net with his far post. But Dynamo did not give up and at least managed to salvage a point thanks to Jakob Lemmer (90.+2).
