The "Elb-Clásico" between Dynamo Dresden and 1. FC Magdeburg will take place on August 9. This was announced by the German Football League with the exact fixtures for the first two match days in the 2nd Bundesliga. The match between the great rivals on the second matchday of the season will kick off at 1.30 pm at the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion. The pay-TV channel Sky will broadcast live.
Promoted Dynamo and 1. FCM will both kick off the season on August 3 (1:30 p.m./Sky). Dresden will then host SpVgg Greuther Fürth, while Magdeburg will welcome Eintracht Braunschweig at the same time. The DFL plans to schedule further Bundesliga 2 fixtures in August and September in the coming weeks.
