Dynamo Dresden's winless streak continued at Preußen Münster. The two teams drew 2:2 (0:1). Dynamo have now gone six games without a win in the 2nd Bundesliga and remain in the basement of the table.
Alexander Rossipal gave Dresden the lead in the 23rd minute with a wonderful free-kick. After the break, Münster's Jorrit Hendrix equalized with a volley (51'), before Dynamo's Lars Bünning scored with his head to make it 2-1 (71'). The defender then also ensured the final score with an own goal (85'). In stoppage time, Dresden substitute Stefan Kutschke was shown the red card after an assault (90.+7).
Münster have the chances, Dresden score the goals
In a fast-paced match, the hosts initially had the better opportunities. Dresden's Lukas Boeder saved on the line from a Münster shot (13'). Shortly afterwards, Lars Lokotsch's deflected shot hit the crossbar to prevent Münster from taking the lead (15').
Dynamo proved to be much more efficient and took the lead through Rossipal's free-kick from just over 25 meters. Münster kept the pressure on even after going behind. However, they left a lot to be desired up until the break.
That changed after the break when Münster captain Hendrix scored the deserved equalizer with a fine shot. Bünning then restored the lead before the ball bounced off the post onto his thigh and into his own goal in the closing stages.
