The Bundesliga match between Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig was interrupted on Saturday. The curious reason: the smoke alarm in the video cube at the Frankfurt Arena was activated due to a large amount of smoke following the use of pyrotechnics. The device was then automatically lowered in the direction of the pitch, causing referee Felix Zwayer to interrupt the match for several minutes. Once the video cube was back in place, the game was resumed.
