Inside defender Andi Hoti is leaving second-division soccer club 1. FC Magdeburg to join relegation rivals Eintracht Braunschweig. The 22-year-old, who was willing to make the switch, had already been dropped from the professional squad at the penultimate club in the table at the start of the year.
"Following Andi Hoti's release at the start of the year, we have now been able to fulfill his wish to change clubs. We have found an amicable solution with Eintracht Braunschweig," said Otmar Schork, Managing Director Sport.
Hoti joined FCM from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023. He played a total of 33 competitive matches for Magdeburg. He was loaned out to Dynamo Dresden in the previous second half of the season. The Saxons were also recently linked with Hoti.
