Baur fails to score from the penalty spot

Dynamo failed to add a second goal as the game progressed. After half an hour, the visitors got into the game better, but were unable to create any major danger for the Dresden box. Even after the break, Dresden allowed their opponents to control the ball and relied on counter-attacks, one of which Hauptmann finished off in the 57th minute.

Nine minutes later, Mika Bauer missed a penalty to prevent an early decision. Kother, who had just come on as a substitute, then made sure of that in the 72nd minute with a dry shot into the far corner. Verl's Eduard Probst hit the crossbar in the 89th minute.
