Journalist Robin Alexander and political scientist Astrid Lorenz are coming to Dresden for the Day of German Unity. If you want to be there live, you have to register in advance.

This year, the Saxon state parliament is celebrating the Day of German Unity on October 3 with a panel discussion on parliamentary democracy. Together with the journalist Robin Alexander and the Leipzig political scientist Astrid Lorenz, the President of the State Parliament, Alexander Dierks (CDU), will address this topic. In addition to members of the state parliament and the Bundestag, members of the Constitutional Court and the state government as well as public figures have also been invited.

Those wishing to experience the ceremony in person at the state parliament must register in advance on the parliament's website. The number of places available is limited and will be allocated according to the number of registrations received. There will also be a livestream broadcast on the Landtag's YouTube channel.
