Chancellor Merz comes to Saxony at the end of October

Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) plans to come to Saxony on October 28. He will also take part in a cabinet meeting of the Saxon government in Dresden, the state chancellery announced on request. The "Sächsische Zeitung" had initially reported this. Merz was planning to attend various appointments in the Free State that day, including a flying visit to the semiconductor company GlobalFoundries, it said.
