The Bundeswehr plans to invest 700 million euros in Saxony over the next ten years, including 134 million for the Army NCO School in Delitzsch.

The Bundeswehr plans to invest around 700 million euros in its infrastructure in Saxony over the next ten years. Some of this is already in the planning or realization phase, said Federal Minister of Defence Boris Pistorius on Wednesday during a visit to the planned site for the new logistics battalion in Bernsdorf (Bautzen district). 134 million euros have been earmarked for the Army NCO School in Delitzsch, 71 million euros for the new construction and renovation of the material store in Zeithain and 106 million euros for investments in the Army Officer School in Dresden. The new site in Bernsdorf is to be designed for 800 posts, including 700 military posts.
