Healthy snacks, 3D printing or IT services - student companies in Saxony are active in many areas. The Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs supports the young entrepreneurs.

Around 130 student companies are currently registered in Saxony. According to the Ministry of Education, some of them are responsible for catering during breaks, with a particular focus on healthy eating.

There are also a variety of creative business ideas in the crafts and handicrafts sector - from the manufacture of decorative items to furniture production. The sale of school supplies or 3D printing and IT services are also on offer.

This school year, the Ministry of Education is supporting 27 student companies with almost 25,000 euros. With up to 1,000 euros per company, the company can be further expanded or the money can be used as start-up capital.
