Two researchers from Saxony have been awarded a highly endowed grant from the EU. The two scientists from Dresden and Leipzig will each receive up to two million euros over the next five years, as announced by the Ministry of Science.
The European Research Council (ERC) awarded Jeronimo Castrillon-Mazo from TU Dresden and Lars Meyer from the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig with the Consolidator Grant - one of the EU's most highly endowed funding measures for individual scientists, according to the Ministry.
