Chemnitz woman wins gold at the European Vocational Championships in Denmark

She is only 21 and already a European champion: Anna Telle from Chemnitz. At the European Professional Championships in Denmark, participants from Germany not only won medals in nursing.

21-year-old Anna Telle from Chemnitz has won a gold medal at the European Skills Championships in Denmark. The nursing specialist impressed the judges in the discipline of health and social care, according to the Worldskills Germany association. "I am totally overwhelmed," said Telle. "What counts for me are the moments I experienced in the competition." The Chemnitz native had already won a medal of excellence in her discipline at the 2025 World Championships.

The competition is a showcase for vocational training. Participants from Germany reportedly won 7 gold, 6 silver, 3 bronze and 6 excellence medals for outstanding performance in Herning, Denmark.
