In order to display and sell thousands of birds, numerous cages and feeding troughs are currently being set up at the Leipzig trade fair. The organizers of the 127th Lipsia-Bundesschau announced on Thursday that the first birds have already been delivered since Wednesday. Visitors are invited to the show between December 1 and 3. The 72nd German Pedigree Pigeon Show will also be held during the event.
The show is organized by the Leipzig Poultry Breeders' Association. In addition to the sale of more than 3,600 of the approximately 21,700 exhibited animals, a professional evaluation of the poultry is also planned. In addition to pigeons, large birds and waterfowl will also be on display. Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (CDU) is expected to be one of the visitors to the show on Saturday.
