The reason for the technical problem in the currently closed Schottenberg Tunnel on the B101 in Meißen has been found: It is a defect in the main data technology distribution system, which is used to control the installed systems, according to the State Office for Road Construction and Transport.
A replacement device is expected to be delivered later today. It must then be configured and installed for the system on site. It can only be released for traffic after a fault-free trial run. According to the information provided, it is not yet possible to predict when this will be the case.
The tunnel remains closed. Anyone traveling on the route must continue to use the detour and expect a longer journey time.
