Technical problems in several tunnels are causing a closure on the highway 17 (Dresden-Prague). The main power supply to the Coschütz, Dölzschen and Altfranken tunnel chain has been disrupted, according to the federal highway company Autobahn GmbH. The tunnels are therefore closed in both directions and traffic is being diverted.
A back-up system ensured that cars were able to leave the tunnels safely. "It is currently not known when the tunnels will be opened. We will inform you as soon as we have more information."
