Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt has cut short his vacation due to the drone incident at Leipzig Airport. The CSU politician is traveling to the airport for a briefing with Saxony’s Interior Minister Armin Schuster (CDU) and the heads of federal and state security agencies, his ministry in Berlin announced.
It was reported that Federal Police President Dieter Romann and Sinan Selen, head of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, are expected to attend, among others. Afterward, around 7:30 p.m., Dobrindt plans to brief the press.
